Jim Bailey, Senior Pastor
Jim and Amy have been married for 14 years and have been blessed with three wonderful children (Brennan, Madison, and Hudson). Prior to coming to Kansas City in 2002, Jim and Amy served in pastoral ministry in two different Christian colleges. Jim loves good coffee, good books, hiking, and Jesus! Jim and Amy are passionate about seeing transformation in the hearts and lives of people.
Tammy McDonald, Staff Pastor
Tammy and Buel have been serving in the local church for over twenty years. They have served Metro since 2002 in many areas: Compassion Ministries, Life Groups, Women’s Ministries, Children’s Ministries, Help’s Ministries and more. They have a heart to see the power of the Holy Spirit moving in every believer to reach the lost, the hurting and the broken. They have 4 kids, 3 in-laws and 4 grandchildren who keep their lives to the fullest.
Bobby Taylor, Worship Pastor
Bobby grew up in a small town in Central Illinois. He grew up in the Church and asked Jesus into his heart when he was 7 years old. His testimony is that he has never walked a day without the Lord. When Bobby was 18 years old he moved to Nashville Tennessee to attended Belmont University. He graduated in 2003 with a degree in music. Bobby and his wife Rachel were married in 2004 and have been serving at Metro with their two boys, Jaxon and Asher, since August of 2008. Bobby has a heart to pastor and disciple young musicians and artists in the local Church. He feels incredibly blessed that the Lord has opened this door for him.
Nathan Haas, Youth Pastor
Nathan grew up in the city of Cleveland, Ohio where life wasn’t always easy. He grew up in the church and on the streets. When he was 18 he had an awesome encounter with Lord, that really changed the direction of his life, and brought him to Kansas city. Nathan loves the city, great coffee,music, camping and fishing. Nathan got married in 2009 to his beautiful wife Angel, who he met in South Africa while helping to equip some young missionaries for discipleship.Nathan has been serving at metro since 2006, He and his wife are really investing in senior and jr. high. Nathan and Angel are passionate about seeing peoples hearts and lives transformed, and empowering people to do what they are called to.
Ryan Rosser, Children’s Pastor
Ryan is originally from the great big town of Coweta, Oklahoma (it’s even on the map). He is both educated and handsome – at least his wife thinks so, most of the time. Ryan and Sarah were married in April of 2010 and have one son, August. Ryan graduated from Oklahoma Christian University, has taught preschool, sold children’s books, taught English in Japan, and is a professional storyteller. Ryan is passionate about seeing children come alive in creativity and imagination as they respond to the relationship and path Christ has set out for their lives. He believes the most powerful story we can tell is about ourselves – the ins, the outs, the joys, the heartaches – and how God moves through it all.
